Bring Lynda Home
My sister, Lynda Seamour Bolton, age 54, was recently diagnosed with a rare progressive movement disorder called Corticobasal Degeneration. This disorder causes paralysis to one side of your body or both, poor coordination, stiffness, thinking difficulties, speech or language difficulty, and dementia. In order for Lynda to receive the care she so desperately needs, she had to quit her job as a paralegal and be placed in a high needs convalescent home due to paralysis on the left side of her body, very limited mobility of her right side, which causes her to spend the majority of her day in bed. However, Lynda is living in Oregon , is very lonely, and receives no visitors because the majority of her family is back here in Connecticut.
Therefore, our goal is to move Lynda back to Connecticut where she can receive the the love an attention from her family and friends that she so rightly deserves. She needs to offset the financial burden on her and her family, which includes medical expenses, legal fees, air travel with a certified nursing assistant, relocation expenses, as well as transportation by ambulance to a new facilty and to specialists as needed.
Lynda andmy family would be thrilled and incredibly grateful for a contribution of ANY amount. Our goal is to raise $50,000 dollars in the next 30 days.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting my sister. I am forever grateful.
