Help for Children of Mario Díaz Obando

My name is Luisa Cabrera, and I am an acquaintance of Mario Díaz Obando, who tragically passed away on January 28, 2025, in a work-related accident at a construction site in Norfolk County.

Mario, a 29-year-old Ecuadorian, leaves behind a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends. His death has left two young children orphaned in Ecuador, who now face the difficult task of coping with this irreplaceable loss.

In this incredibly painful time, his brother, Freddy Díaz, is asking for the community’s help to repatriate Mario’s body so that his family can say their final goodbyes in Ecuador. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
