Help The Sadliers Recover and Plan for the Future

Thank God! She's home!
We cannot begin to tell you how grateful we are for every prayer, thought, share on socials, news reporter, food delivery, and friend that has helped us in this nightmare of a week. We have seen over and over again that we have a beautiful community of friends and family that love and care for us in epic proportions (even Rosie our dog got loved on with a new hair cut).
We won't be able to publicly share full details of all that has transpired over the last week, but it has become even more clear that Markeysha's sweet trust of others puts her in vulnerable and dangerous situations. She longs to be independent and we long to help her become all that she can be - safely.
Although Markeysha is home, her healing, recovery and plans for a safe and thriving future are just at the beginning. Our son Liam, trying to humorously reflect on the trauma our entire family has gone through quipped, "maybe we could just get a live-in therapist?" Although that isn't feasible in a tiny NYC apartment, a lot of healing and work needs to happen. And you all know, we work in the non-profit world and so extra funds aren't readily available for us.
Although Markeysha qualifies for significant support through the state, securing that support has felt near impossible with no control over when it might begin.
We need your help to get through this next season. We want to be able to continue the work and ministries that we've had our hands to for the last decade, but we know we cannot do it alone. Thank you for your love, support, and generosity. And thank you from the depths of our soul for praying for our beloved daughter to make it home.

Original Story:
Help bring Markeysha Sadlier home! She left her family home in New York City one week ago–it’s believed that a stranger lured this vulnerable young lady away–and is long overdue for critical medication. She lives with autism, cognitive disabilities, diabetes, ADHD, and anxiety and underwent brain surgery earlier this year.
Markeysha’s parents, siblings, friends, and community have been working non-stop ever since to find her. Your support will help fund several critical short-term and long-term needs to support the family and the search during this unbelievably stressful time. This includes hiring a private investigator to supplement the efforts of local law enforcement, basic living expenses for the family (as the parents have had to take off from work to focus on the search full-time), therapy for her five siblings, and more needs to be determined as this situation continues to evolve.
Everyone who knows the Sadliers will testify that they are an incredibly loving, thoughtful, and community-oriented family grounded in their strong faith. They live their faith humbly and have dedicated their careers and lives to supporting our most vulnerable neighbors in NYC, from any and all backgrounds. They are the family that does so much for every community they are a part of—their Mosaic Church family, local little league and children’s theater, the food pantry and community center they run in Queens, NY, and more. They are also the family who usually organizes efforts like these–the Meal Trains, GoFundMe campaigns, etc.–for those in need.
And now, this family has a critical need for your support. If you’ve been following the news and wondering how you can help, this is how–please donate to support this family and their efforts to bring their beloved daughter Markeysha home!
