Help Bring our dad (Paddy) home too Newcastle

As our family and friends are aware on Sunday 3rd march my dad Patrick Graham (known as Paddy) Took bad and had a heart attack and cardiac arrest at his home in Dundee with my younger brother Daniel by his side every step of the way, he was taken to hospital in Dundee and put in intensive care in Glasgow for 6 days in a coma , my dad was gradually taking breaths alone over the days but sadly on 7th march my dad had a CT scan and it showed he had extensive brain damage. So it was time to let my dad rest, with his loved ones beside him they slowly reduced his medication and my dad passed away peacefully on 8th march at 1:55am. He spent his last days surrounded by all of his five children, his brother, sister and family from Dundee and Newcastle.

As everyone who knows us knows my dad had moved to Dundee some time ago where he also had family members living. My dad always visited us back in Newcastle regularly and was recently discussing moving back home to his kids and grandchildren.

My dads wishes was if he ever passed away he’d want to be cremated in Newcastle where he spent most of his life with his children. we have been informed that to bring my dad home to us it will cost a lot of money, (still waiting on more quotes)

He did not work due to his epilepsy and we have not been able to find any insurance cover or even if he had any.

Our hearts are breaking and we are all devastated at the possibility of not being able to support his dying wish financially aswel as giving him the send off he deserves after we try and get him home.

We are trying to raise all the money we can to bring him back to us and give him a good send off exactly where he’d want to be with all his children and grandkids, my dad has been a big part of our lives from the day his oldest son was born, we all loved my dad dearly , we all had a special bond as many know and my dad was well loved and we as his children really want to make his wishes of being home come true after all he’s done a lot for all of us. I’m not asking for large donations, every little helps as us as a large family will of course give all we have. thanks so much for taking the time to read and every little help is so Appreciated by us all. Let’s bring my dad home. If we manage to find a cheaper quote to bring him home the rest of the funds will be put towards my dads funeral for him too have exactly what he deserves
