Help Bring Ziggy Home to Wisconsin!

Hi friends,

We’re Austin and Autumn. We have spent the last year living in Belize. We moved here from Wisconsin and we are planning our move back home for the year of 2025. We’re asking for your support to help bring our most handsome man, Ziggy, home to Wisconsin from Belize. Ziggy was born here in Belize, and we’ve loved him more and more every day since we got him in mid-May 2024, when he was just a month old. Now, it’s time for him to join us in the Wisconsin, and we need your help to make that happen!

Ziggy will be traveling on a pet transport trip through Mexico, while Austin and I fly from Belize to Houston to reunite with him. From there, we’ll drive the rest of the way to Wisconsin together. Your donations will help cover Ziggy’s transport and the final leg of our journey.

Due to recent changes in the CDC guidelines as of August 2024 regarding importing dogs, it has become nearly impossible to bring Ziggy into the country through other means. We always expected to bring Ziggy home, but we never anticipated the significant costs involved in making it happen under the new regulations. The process has become more complex and expensive, and your support is crucial to navigating the challenges.

Here’s a breakdown of the costs we’re hoping to cover:

Pet Transport: Ziggy’s trip through Mexico with a trusted pet transport service – estimated at $2000 USD

Flights to Houston: Our tickets to fly from Belize to meet Ziggy in the U.S. – estimated at $600 USD

Hotel & Rental Car: Accommodations and a car rental to drive from Houston to Milwaukee – estimated at $500 USD

Pet Care Supplies: Essentials for Ziggy during his trip and upon arriving home – estimated at $300 USD
