Bringing Relief and Safety to My Family's Survivors
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
In October 2023, the Israeli army bombed my home in Gaza, killing 21 members of my family. I lost my father, my two brothers, my three sisters and 14 nieces and nephews. My home, my family’s home and my brother’s home were all burnt to ashes, leaving my only two surviving sisters and my sister-in-law in dire need for shelter and safety.
And today I find myself compelled to turn to something I have refused to do my entire life—fundraising. I turn to you with a plea for help, not just for myself, but for the survivors of this unfathomable tragedy.
Despite six months passing, the wounds are still fresh, the struggles ever-present. I've exhausted all of my own savings, and more, sending aid to them amidst skyrocketing prices. But it's not enough. The burden is too heavy on me to bear alone.
This fundraiser isn't about replacing what's been lost—nothing ever could. Instead, it's about easing the burden, about providing a glimmer of hope in the midst of despair. We aim to rebuild our home, to offer them a semblance of stability in the chaos of Gaza's reality and help the most needy of my surviving family members evacuate Gaza and receive medical treatment.
Your support will mean the world to us. Every donation, no matter how small, will contribute to the healing process, to rebuilding shattered lives.
For those who've followed my journey on Twitter, you know the depth of my pain, the sincerity of my plea. Asking for help isn't easy at all—I have always been against fundraising campaigns—but now I am left with no choice. And with your kindness, we can turn tragedy into triumph.
Please, consider donating and sharing. Let's rebuild hope, one brick at a time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
