Bring Remember Your Roots to Our Youth and Communities

Donation protected
I am looking to get 1,000 copies of Remember Your Roots to our youth within the LA and Riverside School districts. Together, we can help young people reconnect with their heritage, remember their inherent worth, and embrace their truth and power.

My book, Remember Your Roots, is all about reconnecting with our ancestors, healing old wounds, and stepping into our true power. Now, I’m asking for your help to get this message into the hands of students and communities that need it most. Together, we can spread this powerful story, helping young people feel seen, supported, and inspired to create lasting change.

Why This Matters Now:

Today, kids in many schools don’t have access to books that reflect their lives or honor their heritage. Book bans, disinformation, and underfunding in schools—especially in Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities—are holding our youth back from the stories that help them understand who they are. Many teachers are using their own money to get by, and students are missing out on the tools they need to dream big and feel proud of who they are.

Remember Your Roots will change that. This book gives young people a way to reconnect with their history, honor their ancestors, and find healing in their identity. It’s a chance to remind them that they are powerful, that their stories matter, and that they come from something much bigger and more beautiful than they imagined.

Your donation will go directly towards:

1. Books for Students in Underserved Schools:

We’re providing copies of Remember Your Roots to schools and communities where students don’t have access to culturally relevant books. Your donation will help ensure they receive this powerful story of ancestral healing and self-discovery.

2. Workshops and Healing Events:

Beyond the books, we’ll host workshops and events through The United Collective Non-profit, where students and their families can come together, learn, share stories, and dive deep into their own journey of growth and empowerment.

3. Support for Teachers and Educators:

Teachers will receive discussion guides and tools to help bring the lessons of Remember Your Roots into their classrooms, sparking meaningful conversations about identity, healing, and self-worth.

How Your Donation Makes a Difference:

$28 provides a copy of Remember Your Roots and a reflection guide for one student.
$120 gives four students the chance to receive the book and participate in a workshop.
$800 funds an entire classroom with books and tools for ancestral healing discussions.
$1,000+ helps host a community event where students and families can come together for deep, transformative healing.

Why Your Support is Urgent:

Our schools are struggling. Funding is disappearing, and book bans are making it even harder for kids to see themselves reflected in the stories they read. We can’t wait for the system to fix itself. Our youth need this now. Remember Your Roots is more than just a book—it’s a way for kids to reconnect with who they are, to feel seen, and to know that they are worthy of dreaming big.

By supporting this campaign, you’re giving a young person the tools they need to remember their roots, heal their past, and step confidently into their future.

*To fully know ourselves, we must reconnect with where we come from, both ancestrally and personally. Imagine what the next generation could be like if our youth embraced every part of who they are—mind, body, soul, and lineage—from the start. They would grow up grounded, empowered, and whole, creating a future rooted in wisdom and self-awareness.*

Let’s Make This Happen:

Please help us by donating and sharing this campaign. Every bit of support counts. Together, we can empower more young people to Remember Their Roots and rise into their fullest potential.
