Bring Richard Van Praag home to his daughter

Hi, my name is Rachelle and on August 12th at 8:28 am I got the call that no daughter probably ever wanted to receive, that my father passed away. I never thought that I would be receiving this call let alone the responsibility of all that my dad left behind for me to handle. My dad had been a mechanic all his life (my personal one by a phone call away) and has accumulated an over abundance of tools with their boxes include. Along with other belongings and items that are in need of retrieval. So I am setting this up to help me out with funds on being able to get his things from LA up to Sacramento where I’m at. And to also go towards his cremation and shipping from la to Sacramento. Anything can help even if it’s just a share so others can see. I am a single mother to an eleven year old and 6 year old.

So an update, went down and got most of his things. Still have his storage to worry about. I did have to take out a personal loan of $3300 to cover the first trip to LA. And the rest of the funds of my goal is going to be for his storage and other things that are needed to be taken care of. I really do appreciate every single person who shares, donates or even tells someone about it. My dad was the most important person in both mines and my kids’ life and just want to be able to have my dad, their grandpa home with us. every donation that has came in makes me cry knowing that my dad made an impact on a lot of people with kind hearts
