Bring Sheltrese Home
Donation protected
Dr. Sheltrese Danyell McCoy transitioned today and although our family lost our baby, heaven gained an angel. Born February 16, 1981, she left this earth way too soon, at just 37 years of age. It is hard to put into words what she means to us and the sorrow we feel. However, we are comforted in knowing Sheltrese lived her life authentically, unapologetically and to the fullest. She was passionate about social justice issues and was involved in many causes.
We are so proud of the woman she became and to say she was driven would be an understatement. She remained focused on achieving her goals and this past year received her PhD in Education.
Sheltrese died unexpectedly in Oregon where she traveled to spend this Thanksgiving holiday with her dad and friends. The family asks for support in bringing her home to Cleveland from the West Coast, so she can be laid to rest near her surviving family, her mom Theresa and two older twin brothers, Antone and Angelo. The family asks for prayers of comfort and truly appreciate any financial support that can be provided to bring her home.
