Bring Sunshine Back to Sasha's Life

My name is Sasha Ryan, and I have had a hell of a year.
On May 28, 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage Four Metastatic Breast Cancer. Before then, I was living in my own house with the man of my dreams. Two weeks later, he changed the locks the day after he broke up with me, telling me I had to go live with my mother back in Connecticut because he could not be responsible for me anymore. His career had to come first.
I loved Florida so much. It became my home so quickly. I fit in there. I chased my dreams there. I met the most incredible and caring people who have become my biggest pillars of support. I had never been so happy. It broke my heart to leave and to leave those friends behind.
This coming August will be my thirtieth birthday. As you can imagine, breast cancer treatment can and has been expensive. With insurance, I have spent on my own $15k, and I have been incredibly fortunate to have received additional donations around $5k in aid. The financial pressure can be hard to cope with. And in all honesty, it feels so silly at times to consider asking for help for something like a birthday.
But it is a trip that would mean the world to me. To see my best friends again, be in the sunshine, and go back to the places I have spent months missing would be incredible. I just want to see these girls again. And do something incredibly dorky and fun to celebrate making it to thirty. Most likely medieval times, which I loved. I could never thank anyone enough for so much generosity.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration, and I hope you all have a wonderful day.
All my love,
Sasha✨
