UPDATE SEPT 30 9:30PM (GMT+1)

Jeff is currently stable and in good spirits. We are still unsure what caused the episodes, which makes this whole situation still pretty scary. Doctors will conduct a 24-hour heart test starting Monday before they can determine if he is stable enough to fly.

In the meantime-- THANKS TO YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT -- we are able to send Grace and Ella back to the States. Jennifer will be staying behind with him to travel home together when he is healthy enough to fly.

Our family is overwhelmed by the love and support we have received from not only old and new friends and our family but also the people of Lisbon, who have treated us with nothing but love and respect in this chaotic time. We will keep everyone updated here as we know more. Thank you for your love, support, prayers, and well wishes. We feel them all!

We need your help!

After attending his oldest daughter's wedding in Spain, Jeff had major health problems in the air on the trip back to the states. He was rushed to a hospital after landing and it has been a whirlwind of tests and unknown's ever since. In the chaos, the entire family, including Jeff, Jen, Grace and Ella missed their connecting flights and are now stuck in Lisbon, Portugal. This stay has included hotels, meals, uber rides, unplanned medical expenses and a lot of tears.

While we do not know exactly what the issue is yet, we are hopeful that Jeff will recover soon and be able to get home to his doctors in the States and most importantly, his Kindergarteners! In the meantime, we need your help to bring home the rest of the family and offset some of the unforeseen, international medical expenses.

Jeff, Mr. Berry, Uncle Beeps, Dad-- whatever you call him-- needs us!
