Bring the Bradford Bear Home: Support Our Legacy

Our school has always been known for its fierce athletic prowess and the unwavering spirit of our students, parents, and alumni. As most reading this are probably aware, Bradford's sports mascot is a bear. To commemorate this legacy and inspire future generations, we are launching a campaign to install a magnificent, lifesize bear statue at our sports stadium—a symbol of our mascot, our strength, and our community.

The statue will greet athletes, students, and visitors alike with its powerful and majestic stance at the entrance to the stadium. It will not only beautify our campus but also serve as a rallying point for school spirit and a proud reminder of our shared identity.

We are reaching out to you, as a valued member of the Bradford Prep family, to ask for your support in making this dream a reality. Our goal is to raise $3,750, which will cover the costs of purchasing and installing the statue. Here’s how you can help:

1. Donate via GoFundMe: A very modest donation of only $5.00 by each Bradford family would exceed our goal. Of course, you are welcome to donate more!

2. Spread the word: Share our campaign with your network on social media or through word of mouth. The more people we reach, the quicker we can achieve our goal. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, alumni - let them know what we need and how to donate.

Your contribution will not only help erect a stunning statue but also reinforce the pride and unity of our school community. Together, we can create a landmark that will inspire and motivate our students for years to come.
