Help All Owners after Tragic Fire at The Den in Burlingame

On the night of Sunday, March 30th, a devastating fire engulfed The Den, with rescue teams working tirelessly into the early hours of the 31st and beyond to contain it. Sadly, the building was a total loss and has since been demolished. The fire took everything—our business, our equipment, and our livelihoods. While insurance will cover some costs, the future of rebuilding remains uncertain.

This GoFundMe aims to support both the building’s owners, the Garrison family (venmo: @SmGarrison), and the business owner, Niki Manbeck (venmo: Nicole-Manbeck-1).

We’re calling on our incredible community to come together in any way possible to help us recover from this heartbreaking loss. Your donations will go to The Garrison Family to help recoup any expenses due to the fire that insurance will not cover for the building and demolition. It will also go to Niki to help bring The Den back to Burlingame!

Niki and the Garrison family have always given back to this community—sponsoring students, volunteering, and even planning a fundraiser for those in need before the fire changed everything. The Garrisons are one of our very own community members, a small farm family who took a chance to help revive downtown. Niki is an amazing business owner, friend of the Garrisons who came to our community to help in the goal of reviving a small town. The Den wasn’t just a business; it was a place that brought people together, and our town needs it to come back.

At this time, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown—only speculation based on the building’s age and what employees and owners observed. Due to the fire not being able to be put out safely, we may never know for sure.

Donations will be distributed based on what insurance will and will not cover for both the business and building owners.
