Bring The Goodtime I Home
The Goodtime I is a family owned businesses, located in Sandusky, Ohio. For over 35 years, the Goodtime I has been a staple of downtown Sandusky, helping thousands create memories with family and friends.
The company is owned by Joe and Amy Lamb. This family has always put the community first. Donating to fundraisers, 'donating' the Goodtime I to be used for charitable events, giving back to First Responders; the list goes on and on!
Now, the Lambs need our help.
In 2020, The Goodtime I was scheduled for her 5 year 'dry dock inspection'. The cost of this inspected was expected to be between $30,000 and $40,000. But, as the inspectors continued to work and get deeper into the vessel, the repairs started to multiply, and the final bill began to rise. The final bill for the repairs was just over $420,000, over 10 times higher than anticipated. The company as been able to make a small dent in the overall bill, but $350,000 is still needed before the shipyard will release the vessel back to the Lamb family.
After exhausting every option with his attorney and financial advisor, Joe Lamb announced that he was left with no choice, and the business would be closing. We can't let this happen! Joe and Amy underestimated the impact they have had on the community.
Losing this business would be devastating for anyone who enjoys its' services, and for the tourism industry of Sandusky.
Every penny helps and is appreciated more than you can imagine!
