Help Nick and Marion on the Road to Recovery

Donation protected
With the recent White Island volcanic eruption, tragically a local Engadine couple have been seriously injured in this event.

Nick and Marion London are known by you many of you in our community. They are in a critical condition but have been very lucky to make it off the island with their lives.

Nick and Marion both have extensive burns to over 50% of their bodies as well as internal chemical burns from breathing in toxic gases and remain on life support.

Today, Thursday 12th December 2019, Nick and Marion were medically evacuated back to Australia. They both have an incredibly long and difficult road ahead with the first of many extensive surgeries happening tomorrow to remove the damaged skin and graft some areas.

With the unclear and long road ahead and the medical and recovery costs only just starting for the family, we would like to start this page to support Nick and Marion’s recovery and support their two children Matt and Louise.

I am a close family friend of the London's and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Matt (with written consent) as he is extremely busy with hospital visits and paperwork at this time. Any and all funds will go directly to support Nick and Marion, and their family. Thank you.
