Bring "The Miracle Worker" to Beckley, WV!

Hi, we are Samantha Ingram and Timothy Runyon. We are local theatre enthusiasts that have decided to come together and bring the beloved show "The Miracle Worker" to Beckley, WV!

"The Miracle Worker" by William Gibson is a three act play about the story of Helen Keller, the woman who lived her life blind and deaf. This beautiful adaptation tells how Helen met her teacher and life companion Anne Sullivan.

We want this show to be a staple in our community by dedicating this production to those with disabilities. One night of this show will be interpreted by a certified sign language interpreter.

This show is a huge undertaking, and we need your help to make it happen. We are using funds from our own pockets, so any donation is a huge help. We need money for sets, licensing, and a stipend to help pay a professional costumer since this show is placed in the 1800s.

As far as we know, this show has not been done in Southern West Virginia since 1968 and we would love to make this dream a reality.

If you or your organization donates $200, you will get 10 tickets to use how you choose and an ad in our Playbill. A donation of $500 will get you 15 tickets to use how you would see fit and an ad in our Playbill. A donation of $1,000 will have you provided with 25 tickets and time before our show to speak to our audience members about your organization.

Show dates are May 3rd-5th at the Raleigh Playhouse and Theatre.
