Bring Them Inside -- Weingart Center
Imagine helping just one individual transition from living on the street to enrolling in a 9-month program that will take them from homeless to healthy independent living.
Right now, there are 66,000+ LA County residents experiencing homelessness. Leaving just one of these individuals on the street for a year costs nearly $40,000 when medical, emergency, psychiatric, social, and law enforcement services are factored in. This means that taxpayers spend over $2 billion every year--with no real return.
With your help, we can change a life for the better.
Enrolling one person in the Weingart Center's 9-month program with comprehensive wrap-around services costs around $10,000. This includes housing, medical and psychiatric care, case management, education and vocational training, job preparedness and placement, 3 meals a day, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and so much more!
Generous people just like you are helping thousands of Angelenos reach the programs and services they deserve to end their cycle of homelessness. Help us reach our $10,000 goal. Remember, your tax-deductible contribution isn't just a donation, it's an investment in someone's life!
