Synopsis:

In a world consumed by an eerie, supernatural force, Micah, a grief-stricken survivor, joins a small group tasked with containing the influence of a mysterious black hole deep in the forest. This void is more than a cosmic anomaly—it is a living entity that feeds on trauma, warping reality and consuming those who come too close.

Haunted by the loss of his wife and daughter, Micah struggles to recall what truly happened to them. As he embarks on his first patrol alongside the hardened Tony and the empathetic Marcus, the black hole’s presence becomes more than just a distant threat—it speaks to him, whispering in a language that seeps into his mind.

As the night unfolds, the team’s fire pits—meant to repel the void’s influence—begin to flicker and die. Shadows move unnaturally, reality distorts, and Micah’s past unravels in horrifying flashes. The deeper they go, the clearer it becomes that the void knows him—and it wants him back.

When the truth is finally revealed, Micah realizes he has been unknowingly helping the black hole all along. As his sanity fractures and his team falls around him, he succumbs to the darkness, becoming part of the very force he sought to resist.
