Bring Vegan Desserts to the Food Court!

When I went vegan in 2000, I could never find any vegan treats in Newark, let alone AT the Christiana Mall! Now they want to feature MY little vegan bakery in the food court of all places??
In 2020, when stores were slowly reopening after quarantine, The Christiana Mall hosted pop ups to help local small businesses by allowing us to use the vacant carts for a weekend. That weekend has been the most profitable weekend we've ever had. Ever since, we've been asking for another opportunity to get back in the mall.
Sometimes opportunities arise that weren't planned and you have a short window of time to jump on them before they disappear - that's why we're asking for your help now! We have ONE month to raise 3200 to jump into a kiosk that's right at the entrance to the food court that happens to be opening up March 1st. As you can imagine, this is the best space for us and a hot spot for any other business, so we want to take advantage of the opportunity and move in before someone else does.
How will this help us?
Our storefront has gone through so many ups and downs since we took over in 2020. From Quarantine to inflation to staffing. We have been getting through by the skin of our teeth and with help of you amazing beautiful people who want to see us survive and thrive (and enjoy our delicious treats!). For example, on a GOOD week we might make $1200 for a full week at the shop in Newark... when we had the kiosk at the mall, we made $1200 in three days. Our basic operating costs are about $4400 a month. That means we are constantly on our toes trying to play catch up, balancing which bills get paid first, and that's after having to let go of our favorite employees. Our biggest challenge? Getting more foot traffic and getting out in front of more customers. Once we are in front of the customer (festivals, markets, pop ups) we do well. Last year we tried doing more markets and more festivals only to have two festivals cancel and one get rained out, as well as markets getting rained out.
That's why I believe opening our mall kiosk will help us. We will be open 5 days a week to start, eventually 7 days, in the busiest location we've ever sold in for the next six months. If it's as successful as I believe it will be, we will extend our lease. But FIRST... we need to get that down payment in.
Will you help us get even closer to our dream??? Bringing the FIRST FULLY VEGAN BAKERY IN DELAWARE TO THE CHRISTIANA MALL???
Let's go!
