Bring Weston Home to Rest

Donation protected
It is with my deepest sorrows to announce that a dear friend and family member, Lauren Rodriguez, is in need of financial assistance. On the morning of February 27th, Lauren received a call that no mother should ever receive. Lauren’s son, Weston Ray George (24), was living abroad in the Philippines and took his own life.

Making death arrangements for your child is every parent’s worst nightmare. The situation surrounding Weston’s unexpected passing in another country means excessive fees in the transportation and delivery of his remains on top of the cost of services. This is not a cost anyone is prepared for nor one a grieving mother navigating the loss of her child should worry about.

The amount requested is the estimated cost of transportation and recovery of Weston’s remains. Lauren and the family only want to bring him home to lay him to rest. All donations will go towards relieving the financial burden associated with that desire. Any amount received in excess of costs associated with transport and services will be donated in Weston’s honor to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

The family asks that their privacy be respected during this time of bereavement. If you are able, please consider donating to this cause.

Weston, you will forever be remembered, cherished and loved.
