In June 2007, my (now) ex-wife abducted my 2 ½ y/o first born daughter and step-son from Aurora, CO to Australia.  I was devastated when this happened and didn’t know what to do.  A few months later, I found out that I could file an application with the Hague Convention courts to have my children brought back.  In 2009, I was finally able to see them again for the first time in 2 years.  Once home, a family court judge ruled that because they had been gone for long, it was in their best interests to remain with their mom and return back to Australia…a place that they were just ordered from.

After, their return, the mom cut me off from all communication and disobeyed every order of the court.  Finally, after 2 ½ years of this, the family courts reversed their ruling and awarded me sole custody.  My ex-wife was ordered to bring my children home.  This was in November of 2012

To this day, she has never done so, I have been fighting to be reunited with them ever since.  It’s been a total of 9 years and 3 months since this nightmare began and 7 years and 3 months since I have been able to hear my children’s voices, see a photo or know anything about them.

I have been in touch with attorneys in Australia to assist me in this and they say that this can happen but, they are all are asking for more money than I have.  This ordeal has already cost me tens of thousands of dollars and am in need of help now. My children deserve the right to know both of their parents and to love us equally but, this won’t happen unless, they come home.
