Everett's Road to recovery

Donation protected
My dad Everett is a truck driver and was on the road in Indiana when he suffered an acute stroke that has now cause his brain to bleed. They put him in ICU and going to try to stop the bleeding, but the doctors are telling us that he will have to be there for at least 5 more days. We (his family) are in Pensacola, Florida and don't have the funds to get to him so he is there alone. He has been there since this past Saturday (10-11-14). We are trying to raise the money to get him home and this in itself is going to incur other expenses such as lodging, food, rental car etc. His wife (our mom) also has to take off of work to travel up to  be there with him and drive him home, and will not be paid for the time off. He most likely will not have this job either when it is all said and done, because they will take his CDL license.. This is a man that has devoted most of his life to helping others. He has been a firefighter since the age of 18, even holding the position of President of the Santa Rosa County Firefighters assos. He is an emergency first responder. And was previously named firefighter of the year for his heroic efforts in saving lives. We need him home where his own doctors and his family are, so if there is anyway you can contribute to help 'Bring Everett Home" we would be so very greatfull and thank you in advance for your support.
