Bringing a Dance Studio to the Bronx

Hello, my name is Sherema and I am the Founding Executive Director of Cultured Movement, a nonprofit dance organization founded in 2009. I hope that my story about my journey with dance inspires you to help us bring a dance studio to the Bronx. We currently utilize space in Manhattan, but we would like to relocate to the community where we serve most of our youth and adults and where I was raised - THE BRONX! As we enter into our 13th year of service to our community through dance, we are hoping to raise 13K to begin our endeavor with bringing the art of dance back to our Bronx community with a solid, accessible location. We appreciate the journey that we've been on and we aspire to continue to bring cultural competence via the art of dance! Thank you for your support! We are eternally grateful!
