I’m hosting a special event that will provide hair care (FREE SERVICES) for Black children in the community so they’ll look their best for PICTURE DAY ensuring they feel seen, valued, and connected to their cultural roots. We are funding it ourselves BUT...Your donation will help fund supplies, decor, refreshments, and gift bags for the attendees which will include a silk cap, braiding gel, detangler, coloring book, and a PERSONALIZED tumblers. I will be collaborating with Source Magazine [email redacted]istry who will be donating her services as well THIS MEANS A LOT TO ME This event is not only about fostering inclusion and celebrating diversity, it’s also educational. I will be giving the kids braiding classes and braiding kits. Not everyone is fortunate out here and that’s why it’s up to us to put in the work and help out
