Bringing back our ancestors to Rapa Nui

RAA NUI!
The ancestors "Ivi Tupuna", along with numerous artifacts, were
"uplifted" from Rapa Nui during an expedition by Captain Lieutenant
Wilhelm Geiseler (September 20-23, 1882), commissioned in the colonial
context by the Imperial Admiralty to conduct scientific research for the
ethnological department of the Royal Prussian Museums in Berlin.
Since 2019, The Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden SKD,are working
towards the repatriation of the Ivi Tupuna (ancestors) in cooperation with Mata Huki a Tangaroa with Mata Hitorangi a Huariki represented by Evelin Huki and Santi Hitorangi, representatives of the communities of Rapa Nui.
In order to bring the Ivi Tupuna back for their reburial we have to raise
money that helps us implement our objectives. Therefore, we hope that we, together with the help of all of you supporters can achieve what we have been advocating for years. Justice and Human Rights for our deceased family members.
