Bringing Back Tide's Smile

Meet Tide. This pup just joined his new home where he's been spoiled rotten for the first time in his life. His new mom, Danielle, has been wanting a new dog forever and finally had the chance to give one a new home. However, Tide's journey has been a rough one.
His previous home wasn't fit for an animal, kept on a heavy chain outside in a yard barely big enough for him. No room to run and never allowed inside. When his family moved away, Tide was still on that chain, abandoned. Luckily a neighbor was connected to a rescue and saved Tide from this fate.
This wasn't the end of his trials, however. When Danielle adopted Tide she was given a full report from his trainer at the rescue, much of which a vet visit discredited.
- Tide was actually three years older than originally advertised.
- Danielle was told Tide was not aggressive to other dogs, which turned out to be a lie.
- She was also told Tide did not have arthritis, another falsehood.
- Tide had a large lump on his leg that the trainer said just appeared that morning. According to the vet it was caused by two different bacteria that could have only been caused from a bite from another dog, and suddenly appearing was impossible.
- Tide was supposedly fully vetted, but several of his teeth were found to be damaged and have to be removed making it painful for him to eat and play.
Danielle has invested thousands in Tide so far in necessities, medications for the infected swelling, and a trainer to make sure Tide can play with other dogs. His dental issues, however, are a challenge. The surgery required to remove the bad teeth comes to over $1200 before follow up visits, medications, and all other expenses.
This is where you come in. To account for all expenses for the operation and all fees involved, we are asking as little as we think will handle everything. Danielle has drained her own savings dry trying to give this dog his first good home. We ask for your help today to help give Tide the chance that nobody has given him before. A chance to be happy and loved.
