Can you imagine not having a home? Together we can ensure that a new dorm will be constructed as soon as possible for the 50 New Hope Vocational School students who will soon have a place to call home, along with new beds to sleep in, clothing to wear, and materials for school.
Boys Dormitory Fire
50 boys call the boys dormitory at New Hope Vocational School their home. On Wednesday morning we were informed that the boys dormitory had caught fire. The entire building was destroyed, along with all of the boys' belongings including beds, mattresses, clothing and school supplies. The fire began after everyone had left the dormitory for the day, and once the fire was discovered, it was too late to save the building or the boys' belongings. We are extremely grateful to report that no one was physically injured.
Will you help us rebuild?
There is hope and that hope is you! We are determined to support the New Hope Vocational School students and together, we can build a new structure and provide the essentials needed for the boys.
The 50 students living in the boys dormitory lost everything they had except the clothing they were wearing the morning of the fire. Your contribution today will supply the 50 boys with essential items including mattresses, blankets, bedsheets and school supplies and support our efforts to construct a temporary and permanent living space for the 50 students and the resources to replace the essential items lost in the fire.
New Hope Vocational School
New Hope Vocational Training Institute began in 2004 to train young adults who didn’t receive a traditional education with skills to create sustainable lifestyles. Many young adults drop out of school after losing a parent(s) or enduring circumstances beyond their control.
New Hope Vocational Training Institute offers classes in skills such as carpentry, tailoring, arts & crafts, agricultural practices, hairdressing, and bricklaying. The Vocational School has graduated more than 400 women and nearly 100 men since its inception, and many of the graduates give back to the Bringing Hope to the Family community through mentoring younger students.
Would you consider joining us in helping with this immediate need? Please share this with your family and friends.
Thank you for your continued support. Together we can ensure that the 50 New Hope Vocational School students will soon have a place to call home, beds to sleep in, clothing to wear, and materials for school.
