Jameson McMullen Memorial

I'm Michelle, sister to Lynn and Bryan McMullen. We are all profoundly heartbroken that we lost our bright and brilliant angel, Jameson McMullen, on October 13, 2022. Jameson's academic and athletic achievements are well documented. He was a four-year varsity member of the Harvard Westlake swim team, serving as Captain during his senior year. Recruited by Brown University, he enjoyed competing for the school before their season was truncated due to the pandemic. His commitment and dedication did not end with the swim medals. He applied the same work ethic to his education, receiving top academic honors. Jameson was also a committed and dedicated friend. He shared his love authentically and inspirationally. He cherished his interpersonal relationships with those he loved. Jameson's teammate, Taka Khoo, says it beautifully, "You were a best friend, a brother, a leader, a mentor; taught me grit, friendship, empathy, and how to be myself; pointed out the sunset and the glassy ocean water every single time; saw my potential when nobody else did; you will always be in our hearts."

Lynn and Bryan are making the arduous journey now to Providence RI, to bring Jameson home to Los Angeles so he can be with his family. We want to alleviate the financial strain of this unimaginable expense so they can focus on the love shared and the blessing his life has always been.

Donations will be used towards bringing Jamo home and hosting a coming together to celebrate Jamo's life. We will hold the event in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 2:00pm, Bel Air Church, 16221 Mulholland Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90049. The remaining contributions after expenses will be the seed to a foundation or a donation in Jameson's name. We will also post an update when those decisions are made.
