Bringing Molly’s Horse Ana Home

Meet Ana!
I wanted to share an update of something really cool that God has really been doing for Molly.
Molly is super committed to working with horses and plans to pursue this as a career. She is dedicated to going to the horse barn everyday and trains and competes in Hunt Seat competitions. She has taken lessons since she was 4 years. and the passion to work with horses has never waivered.
Knowing this is a serious thing and not just a hobby I knew the reality of owning her own horse was growing closer and closer to the right time to make that happen. We are very aware of the monthly cost and are used to paying out that kind of budget on horse related expenses.
After shopping around the reality of how much a young, healthy/sound trainable horse was a shock. The price being 100% out of our reach.
We began to look at rescues but the problem with that was most horses were with limitations because of neglect (this why they were brought to a rescue). I felt a word from the Lord to stop looking that he knew where the right one was and that He would connect the dots so to speak. He cares about Molly too.
The exciting thing is He has done just that. I woke up one morning a couple weeks ago and my instant thought was to look at Lollypop Farm (not something Inwas doing before). At first I resisted the thought and then it really felt like it was God so I did. There was a horse listed that was basically a unicorn. She literally was just posted too. So I headed to go check her out. She’s a 5 year old retired race horse with no health issues and no repercussions from racing… checked out and confirmed by several vets. She is alao supernsweet and calm.
Her back story was she was a racer in Puerto Rico, born in New York. She was rescued by Carribean Thoroughbred Aftercare and trained for a few months and then sent to the states and is now at Lollypop Farm.
My mom and her husband heard about her in February and never told me and here God led me to her. We all agree it’s meant to be. Molly went Friday to meet her and Lollypop has approved Molly and I as well the farm our horse will live at. She is scheduled to be trailered to the barn on May 27th so we need to fully pay them by then. They have 3 new horses coming and need the space too.
We are so excited to be giving her a forever home, the thing is this…We planned on a flower stand this summer to raise the $$ to buy a horse and we haven’t had a chance to do that yet.
The horse is only $2000 because it’s being adopted through LollyPop Farm, which is an amazing price. Molly will be working with her trainer and finishing the horses training process… invaluable experience and training for Molly as well.
We are raising the funds to bring her home and many have asked for a GoFund Me page to donate so here we go. . Thank you for considering what you could do to help bring Molly’s horse home! Anything over the an
amount will go towards horse care and or competition fees. Thank you so much for blessing my precious hard working horse girl!
