Bringing mom's ashes to CA

Hey everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you can help in any way it'd be greatly appreciated. In Nov I'm wanting to bring part of Mom's ashes out to CA so she can be with my dad in Santa Maria. We're also having a small friends and family gathering in Nipomo for her and her sister who passed on July 1.

I am trying to raise money to pay for a plane ticket, hotel and car rental. Throughout the years friends and family have always said to me "let me know if I can help". I've never taken anyone up on that offer and always took care of Mom on my own and researched for respite help and any other ways I could get relief. Well, now I'm ready to take you all up on those offers.

All of you know how much mom meant to me and she made me promise her 2 things when I brought her out here to TN. I couldn't keep my first promise and that was to take her to the Grand ol opry so she could fulfill her lifetime dream of singing there. She didn't care if it was empty or full of strangers. She just wanted to be able to say she sang at The Opry. My heart breaks every time I think of how I failed on this promise to her. But her health just limited her travel. Her 2nd promise she asked of me was when she did pass that I would bring part of her to my dad. I will keep that promise! I'm praying it'll be in Nov but if it's not, I will make sure it happens one day. I'm hoping that with off of your help, this promise will be fulfilled.
