We want to express our gratitude to all of you who have reached out to us with your condolences. It's still hard to believe the tragedy that unfolded - Si's absence has left an enormous void in our lives. While things will never be quite the same, we're committed to keeping his memory alive and remembering him with admiration and a smile.
We've been deeply moved by the influx of flowers, cards, messages, and donations that have been pouring in. As a family - myself, Kirsty, and Ben - we're truly touched by the kindness.
You all know how Si was, always diving into wild ultra races and mountain escapades. He was a whirlwind of activity, always planning his next adventure. A true legend, my beloved "Run Wanker."
For those interested in joining us for his farewell, the details are listed below. We'll also provide a live link on the day for those unable to attend, which we'll share soon.
As a family, we're hoping to celebrate his life, so we're steering away from an all-black attire. Si had a thing for Orange, and many of you are aware of his loyalty to West Ham, his cherished football team. Let's deck out in orange, claret, and blue to send him off on his final journey.

Many of you are familiar with the incredible life of my dad, Simon Small (AKA Run Wanker), a legend in his own right, known for his business endeavors, partying days, and thrilling adventures. It is with a heavy heart, I share the news of my dad's passing on July 28, 2023.
During his last days, he was at his cherished second home on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, a place that brought him immense joy. My dad touched countless hearts and was always there to help others, yet he struggled to seek help for himself. In the wake of this loss, my mum, my brother, and I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all of you. Many have asked how they can assist, and instead of flowers, our heartfelt wish is to repatriate my dad from Scotland back to his beloved hometown, where he belongs with his family.
As a devoted advocate for charity, my dad was particularly close to the British Heart Foundation due to the loss of his father at a young age to a heart attack. Therefore, we intend to donate a portion of the proceeds to support their essential work.
Moreover, we as a family feel it is crucial to contribute to a mental health charity or Samaritans, as these causes now hold deep significance for us. Although we have not yet decided which one, we are committed to making a positive impact in the hopes to help those who are struggling.
It's with a pang of regret that we acknowledge my dad couldn't fully grasp the overwhelming love surrounding him until it was too late. But, we are immensely grateful for the love and support we have received from everyone during this challenging time.
Our only wish is to bring our dear father and husband back home to Essex, where we can begin to process our grief and plan a fitting send-off that he truly deserves. With your help and kindness, we hope to make this possible.
