Bringing Nora & Nippa home

Heya. Most of you reading this will already know our story but for those who don't, thank you for taking the time to read.
On the 28th of October 2023, our twins were born via emergency C section at 28 weeks (3 months early)
They spent 40 days in the NICU and have at least another month in special care.
During this time, my husband hasn't been able to take off any paid leave from work as his leave days are very limited.
He had 1 week off (unpaid) when the twins first arrived.
Our daily travel & parking costs is $50 a day.. and although we recieved a little bit of help from charities at the very start ($120 in fuel vouchers), we aren't eligible for any further financial help.
We do have a social worker, but again, the help they could offer, isnt enough to allow hubby to have some time off work.
We have 4 boys at home, ages 13, 9, 5 and 1 .. its extremely hard for me to be in the hospital with the babies and not feel guilty about the boys missing out on their parents. They have been thrown here, there and everywhere :(
I would never ask for this kind of help, especially in these tough times, however, the importance of having hubby at home for our boys atm and also him being able to form a bond with our twins is much more important than my pride.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♡ .. we promise to pay it forward as soon as our babies are home and life is back on track. MERRY CHRISTMAS xo
