Bristol After Stroke

Hi, my name is David Exell, I am Treasurer of a half million pounds annual income charity Bristol After Stroke and I am raising money by cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats which is 1,000 miles; it is important to me to raise money for charity when taking part in similar adventures, having in the last few years three times taken part in the gruelling Marathon des Sables in the Sahara Desert in Southern Morocco, when six years ago I was the oldest British competitor to complete the ultramarathon; having given up running I have now taken up cycling which is more appropriate to my age of 82; the funds will be used to meet the costs of this non-profit making charity, a charity which looks after the victims of Strokes after their discharge from hospital and return to society
