Bristol Eldridge Med Fund

Lil Bristol has been sick for about a week now. Started with a rash all over and a high fever. Her mom and dad, Michelle and Charlie Eldridge, took her to the ER Monday night, Aug 20, and they admitted her for severe dehydration. She tested positive for strep throat, and the fever wouldn't break. They started her on IV antibiotics. The hospital was where they would stay until yesterday Aug 24, and her condition worsened. Bristol's balance was almost non existent, her face was twitchy, she had excessive and long blinks, and slurred speech. They had done a CT scan in Cozad the night of the 24th and after that they put Michelle and Bristol on a plane straight to Children's Hospital in Omaha to see a pediatric neurologist. Once they got there they did a MRI and lumbar puncture. The test results from that was high white blood cells in cerebrospinal fluid. Could be encephalitis or meningitis. Doctors started her back in IV antibiotics and she is still weak and very tired. Michelle, Charlie, and all the kids are great people and could really use some help in this time of need. Thoughts and Prayers also for Bristol. The funds raised will help with medical expenses, travel expenses, and anything else while Michelle and Charlie are off from work and are comforting there lil girl and getting Bristol healthy again.
