Bristol "the pistol" Morrison

Hi, my name is Amber and I am raising funds to help my sister and her husband, Jamie (Lewtas) and Michael Morrison and their daughter Bristol.

Bristol was born on October 31, 2022 at 23 weeks, weighing 1lb 4oz in the London Victoria Hospital. Against all odds, she is here for us to tell her story! She spent 145 days in the NICU and then transferred to the pediatric unit once she was full term. Bristol has a grade 3/4 brain hemmorrage and has had over 20 brain taps and 6 brain surgeries. She has also had collapsed lungs, bacterial meningitis, blood transfusions, ROP eye injections, and lung disease. Bristol will need more brain surgeries before she is able to leave and possibly more in her future

During this time, Jamie and Mike have been living at the Ronald McDonald house but mainly staying at the hospital with Bristol 24/7. They have been unable to work because they are so far away from home.

They have been in London for 7 months and due to Bristols many brain surgeries and medical conditions they will be there for an extended period of time. Right now they are waiting for the protein levels in her Cerebral spinal fluid to decrease so a shunt can be placed. They will need to travel back and forth to London from Thunder Bay several times a year once Bristol is able to go home.

Money raised will be used toward travel expenses and paying bills while they are not able to work. Your help is greatly appreciated!
