British Explorers Society trip to Iceland

Hi there! My name is Kieran. I am 16 years old, and I am fundraising for The British Exploring Society.

I am raising money for the BES because of it's importance in changing young people's lives for the better through unique challenging experiences. The BES works to grow a diverse, inclusive community of young people with the skills, resilience, and determination to make lasting positive decisions in their lives. They were founded on the idea that challenging experiences change lives, as is shown by their continued work since 1932.

This Summer I hope to spend three weeks with BES in Iceland where I will be learning about life skills and how to survive in one of the most challenging and inspiring environments on earth, gaining personal development, and taking part in an adventure that is sure to change my life for the better.
