Brittany Boyles Neurosurgery Journey

UPDATE: 2/20/24-

Today Brittany had a stent placed for her brain aneurysm. We are thanking lucky stars and guardian angels because it was large. She is going to be off work for another 2-4 weeks. Brittany hasn’t been able to work since December 8, 2023.

Oh boy, where to start when it’s been such a challenging few months….

As friends and family know, Brittany has experienced some really intense hardships this year, especially losing her father three months ago. The tragedy didn’t stop there. Brittany was experiencing intense headaches that prompted her doctor to order a CT scan. On December 8, 2023, she received a call from her doctor that she had a lesion on the right side of her skull. He told her to go to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh right away. She arrived around 12:30 am, had several CT scans and MRIs, which resulted in her finding out she had a small benign meningioma and a brain aneurysm. On December 12, 2023, she had a craniotomy to remove the tumor but she is going to be recovering for awhile. We (her friends) created this to make up for lost wages and medical expenses. She is anticipating being out of work for the minimum of 4-6 weeks and she still has to have treatment for her (thankfully stable) brain aneurysm. Please consider donating to help Brittany out.
