Brittany Crowley - Domestic Violence Survivor!
Donation protected
Brittany is a vibrant, funny, outgoing - 29 year old woman who's life was tested on December 27th at the hands of her husband.
For three days and I am sure what seemed like an eternity, her husband tortured, beat, raped, and cut her so severely she had to be airlifted by helicopter to the nearest trauma center.
Brittany has been considered one of the lucky ones who was able to fight long enough to get away. On the late evening of December 27th after many hours and days of being attacked by her husband, she was able to escape as her husband fell and with the little life left in her she was able to run out the door and into his truck to drive away.
What saved her that night was her running through a red light and getting pulled over. As the officer pulled her over, he immediately seen her covered in blood and eyes swollen shut. TWO more minutes of her driving and he said she would've died!
Brittany has a long road to recovery. She has a broken left eye socket, broken/missing teeth, hematoma in her brain, half her right ear was bitten off and her front lip. bruised neck, hips and so much more; and not to mention the emotional recovery.
The funds will go directly to medical expenses, surgeries, and to help rebuild her life. We ask for prayers and kind words of support as she still has so much to deal with and will have to face this man - her husband in court again for trial.
Below are the news links of the man who hurt not only my sister, but a daughter to a mother, an aunt to three, and a friend to all.
