My name is Brittany MacPherson and I am by far one of the most ardent Hillary supporters you will meet. I am currently a grad student at Oregon State, AFT union steward, Marion County Young Democrats Chair, Founder of Salem for Hillary, HUGE supporter of progressive candidates & causes, and overall good person :)
I was just elected to be a delegate to the Democratic National Convention! Yay! Go me! ...but if you recall I am a student which means funds are hard to come by. Our party's state delegates entrusted me with the task of going to Philadelphia and ensuring that Hillary Rodham Clinton become the DNC's nominee! I need your help to do just that!
I'm asking for $2,016 (get it??) to get me to Philadelphia, house me, and feed me. That amount is fairly conservative seeing as though I will be going across the country on such short notice.
Several times during the State Convention delegates would come up to me and told me they voted for me because I am the future of the party. It's incredibly humbling and meaningful that so many people trust me to carry on the legacy of this wonderful party. I won't let them down and I will represent the Democratic Party of Oregon with pride. Thank you for donating!
