Brittany’s ACL reconstruction and recovery.

Hi, I’m Brittany and this is my partner Jared and our child Ezra… and I never thought we’d ever be in this position.

On June 4th I slipped and fell resulting in a full ACL tear, a torn meniscus and a fractured tibia. Since the fall I have had several doctors appointments, physical therapy, have racked up thousands in medical bills and of course missed weeks of work. As the sole provider for my family, this has put a tremendous financial and emotional strain on us.

The lack of mobility makes even my day to day routine significantly more difficult, especially with an active preschooler to chase around.

On September 22nd I have my surgery scheduled to reconstruct my ACL and repair my meniscus, which will put me out of work for 6 weeks with an additional few weeks of limitations resulting in lesser hours.

I’m asking for help not only to cover my copays and physical therapy, but also to keep my family afloat while I recover. We have a long road ahead of us but I’m hopeful that the community we have behind us will help get us though this extremely difficult time.
