Brittany's Breaking Free

Brittany is a stay at home mom of 3 young children. For years she has endured mental and emotional abuse by her alcoholic husband, and he has had complete control over her. She wasn't allowed access to any of his bank accounts or money, nor access to the home security system, etc. She had to walk on eggshells and ask for permission for everything. On Friday, January 27th everything came to a head. After a night out drinking together, they got home her husband began yelling at her and accusing her of cheating. She told him over and over she wasn't, but he just got angrier. She tried to leave and he kept grabbing her and pushing her. She got outside at one point and he pinned her down on the bricks by her arm and head and slammed her against the car. Once back inside, he pinned her down on the bed and threw her around some more. He repeatedly grabbed her by her throat. The whole time he tossed her around and pinned her down he told her repeatedly, "I'm going to kill you". Luckily, she was able to message her sister, who called the police. She was covered in bruises and scratches the next day. She now has an OP against him. But sadly, because he had total financial control, she's left w no money and no income. She needs help providing for her children and needs gas money to get them to school and to the grocery store, etc. Anything helps. Luckily the house is paid for so they have a place to live for free, but it's still unsure if her husband will continue to pay the utilities. Please help this young mother and her beautiful kids get by while they navigate a new normal and try to heal and find the peace they deserve.
