Help me win my fight against a rare liver cancer

My name is Colby. In May of 2016 I was 21 years old. I got the horrible diagnosis of Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma (FHC)—a rare, juvenile, liver cancer. This type of cancer is extremely rare and it attacks primarily adolescents. Throughout my fight, there have been no signs of cirrhosis of the liver, and there has been no metastastic growth from the disease. My faith has been strong and I have been doing everything available to me to keep the disease at bay. I won’t sugarcoat it—this experience has not been without struggles both physical and mental. I used to enjoy any activity that would get me outside: camping, paddle boarding, riding quads and dirt bikes, downhill skiing and snowboarding. I have an amazingly upbeat attitude and am ready to fight this disease as long as I need to in hopes that I will regain my health once again. After this nightmare is over, I have plans to turn right around and help others with these horrible situations in any way possible. I have been fortunate to learn so much in my fight, and I know that I will be able to use this information for the benefit of others in need. I have been blessed with so many opportunities to fight this disease, and God has provided his angels to guide me along the path to keep me fighting to this day. My faith, my parents, my family, and my friends have been working tirelessly to help out, though to make a real advance in my fight, I will need your help. The next set of critical treatments will cost more than $100,000. This is a pivotal moment in my fight. We must now ask for your donations—anything would be greatly appreciated!
