Broad Brothers Productions takes on their most ambitious films yet. Plural. Films.
We are shooting our (hopefully) career kickstarting thesis films back to back. The objective of this campaign is to fully fund these 2 films and formalize Broad Brothers Productions LLC.
WHO WE ARE
Incase you didn’t already know, Broad Brothers Productions is made up of Kaelan and Aja Selbach-Broad, twin filmmakers from Southern Vermont. They are rounding out their final year at Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Art’s film program.

Working together, arguably since the womb, Kaelan and Aja have worked on projects ranging in scale from PSA’s and Commercials, to their real passion of narrative filmmaking. These films will be the largest scale projects yet. Each having intensive production design, time, and money necessary to be completed by their brutally high standards.

THE MOVIES
Dollhouse is about politics and the nature of reality, wrapped in a box of the life of a housewife in 1950’s America.

The Last Woman on Earth – The last woman on earth spends her days scavenging an old mall and looking for other survivors. One day, after finding a working smartphone, she turns to Tinder to look for others; which leads to a strange change in her once-very structured life.

WHAT WE NEED
In short we need $10,000. We actually need more than that, but that is what we are asking for. "For what?" you might ask. Well, making movies is ridiculously difficult and expensive. There are a million variables that all require money. From the objects you see on screen (production design), to feeding the amazing volunteers that make it happen (The Crew), the cast, the gear, the costumes, the gas, the transportation, the rentals, the truck, getting the truck towed out of a Syracuse Snowstorm, and so on.
Check out our pie chart below for what your money will be used for.

OTHER WAYS TO HELP
Making a movie can sometimes feel like a battle. One between the filmmaker and… I don’t know some other force, art maybe? So other ways you can help us keep fighting is by getting the word out there! Share this campaign as much as possible (especially with your rich friends) and tell them about how awesome we are! The more you share the more likely we are to reach our goal.
Follow us on Facebook, and keep up with our updates as we share more of our work to prove that your money will be well spent.
