Brock's Family Home Fire

My name is Josiah Brock and this GoFundMe is for my family (The Brock's) from Birmingham, Alabama.  On Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 12 p.m.,  my sister and I awoke to the screams of "Fire" from our mother. An electrical fire started in our den and spread from there. The entire inside of our house was gutted by the fire. Luckily brave firefighters were able to stop the flames before any of my family's lives were taken. We will mourn the loss however of one of our beloved pets. As of now, we are in a hotel for the moment and don't know what's comes next. All donations will be used in search of immediate housing and the supplying of our basic needs and possible future home repairs.  Unfortunately, our home was uninsured and we could use as much help as possible.  All proceeds will go to my parents (Joe and Shawnneice Brock) to continue caring for our family's needs. 

My father has been a Pastor and local leader for over 30 years.  My mother serves as an ordained minister and has been a Psychiatric Social Worker for over 30 years as well. They have both dedicated their lives to the service of others. I am a current junior at The Altamont School, and my sister is a 2017 Altamont alumna who is currently in college. My oldest brother Joseph lives in New York and is a great support.
