Brock to kenya volunteer

I’m Daisy and I'm volunteering in Kenya to help build and support schools in deprived areas across the Nakuru area. Brock to Kenya is run by my college and i’ll be volunteering alongside 30 other students. This is a project which is helping to improve the life chances of children living in extreme poverty. In addition to helping to do maintenance work at the school I will also participate in preparing and giving out meals to the children, playing games, running activities, coaching children on literacy and numeracy, distributing much-needed provisions and possibly running a ballet class! I will also be bringing donated items such as clothing for the orphaned children. I’m really excited to be taking part in this project and i’m looking forward to helping these communities and seeing Africa. I’ll be raising funds over the next few months, and i’m working weekends to help fund the trip.
