Brock's Service Dog Fund

Dearest friends and family, I am calling upon you in a time of great personal need. It is extremely humbling to ask what I am about to ask. Three different medical professionals have all advised me that acquiring a service dog would be of pronounced benefit for me both physically and mentally. For those of you that are not aware, I suffer from three different autoimmune diseases gastroparesis, psoriatic arthritis, and celiac disease. I have been told that, I am likely to develop more autoimmune diseases as I get older. I have struggled with mental health issues for a long time. These stem from incidents growing up and while serving on mission. I would prefer to leave out details as they are quite painful. Through the grace of God my family and I have connected with Christina Gates of Top Notch Service Dogs in Elkhart, Indiana. Christina has graciously accepted me as a client. We have worked on finding a dog for me. The dog's name is Gigi. She was rescued by Christina and her team when just a puppy. Gigi is extremely smart and caring. She is a mix of Border Collie, Belgian Malinois, Golden Retriever, and Cane Corse. I cannot put into words how wonderful it is to be around Gigi. It is like she is part of me that I did not realize was missing until I meet her. Christina Charges $25,000 for a service dog. i know this sounds like a large sum of money, but for all the work She and her team put into a dog it really isn't. I have the required $5,000 down payment. However, I need help paying the remaining $20,000. Christina offers a payment plan, but if my friends and family could help provide a lump sum consisting of all or part of the remaining balance that would help me tremendously.
