Brody’s Cancer Treatment Fund

Hello. We are Darren and Lesley, Brody’s parents. We were recently devastated and surprised to learn that Brody, our 8-year-old beloved Pembroke Welsh Corgi, was diagnosed with Stage 5 lymphoma on Wednesday November 16, 2022.

Brody has been an integral part of our family ever since we brought him home as a 12-week-old, rambunctious, floppy-eared puppy. He has constantly been by our side as we moved from Boston to Myrtle Beach and then to Western Massachusetts. Last year he became a big brother to a human sister and then again took on big brother duties this year, now sharing his home with two little girls. Upon his initial diagnosis on 11/16, we immediately started chemotherapy and a treatment plan the day before Thanksgiving. He initially responded well but lately has been very lethargic, has no appetite, and is generally not himself. His current treatment plan requires a weekly exam and blood test followed by chemotherapy every 2 weeks. 

We did not plan or even think about a GoFundMe page until a friend encouraged us. After spending over $2,000 during the first three days for Brody's treatment, we are hoping that any funds donated can help us battle Brody’s cancer and make him as comfortable as possible.
