Ed and Denise Broich recovery from Fire

Brittney, Chevy, and Raylan Broich - Passing of their Husband and Father Nathan

My name is Philip Stark, I am the Husband, Son in-law, and Brother in-law to the most loving, caring, humble, and considerate people I have ever met in my life. 

In the last 13 years of knowing these wonderful people, I have personally witnessed them looking out for one another, caring and loving others unconditionally, as well as giving help to others in need. In their tight knit family one can only explain it as a family culture that truly cares and relies on one another. 

In a matter of a few unfortunate weeks the family has been dealt some pretty harsh blows. 

To only be explained as a "freak occurrence" or "unexplained incident" Ed and Denise lost their home to a fire. After a professional investigation it was determined to have an unidentified source of ignition. In that night, Ed and Denise had lost their home, their belongings, heirlooms, as well as many of the pictures and memories from their family. I have attached a small video that shows only a brief view of the destruction to the home. 

Only weeks later, if the fire was not enough burden on the family,  in another series of events Nathan Broich fell ill while trying to find a new life path with his family in Pentwater, MI. Nathan was admitted to the hospital and while receiving treatments for his internal distress, lost his life.  Nathan has left behind a loving Wife (Brittney), and two wonderful children (Chevy "Love"(7), and Raylan "Ray-Ray"(5) those are our nicknames for them).

To top everything else off, on the afternoon before Nathan passed away, Ed (Nathan's Father) fell ill to Covid and is battling the illnesses symptoms today. He and Denise have been made to quarantine through the life ending passing of their Son.

This has been a trifecta whirlwind of terrible events. I would have never thought that this would happen to this family and I would not wish this upon anyone else. 

If any of you know me, I am not one to ask for donations, handouts, or help. I have not been asked to do this fundraising, I am doing this on my own accord. I am one who likes to do things on my own and take care of business. I do not do social media and I don't even like talking on the phone very much. My wife can attest to that. But at this point I don't know what to say or help the family I love. So if I can put anything together to help them out, I'm going to try.
