Broken Bunny Needs Help to Save Leg
Donation protected
Our beloved Flemish Giant Rabbit, Reggie, broke his femur bone yesterday. We are devastated and we don't have the funds for the emergency surgery that he needs.
Currently, he is in a veterinary cage, awaiting surgery within the next few days. He faces amputation of his hind leg unless we can raise the funds for his surgery.
If we meet our fundraising goal, we can afford to get him the surgery he needs to have a plate installed in his leg. The money raised will cover his surgery, ($3500) and his follow-up appointments and pain medication ($1500).
Reggie means so much to us, and to our friends and family. He brings joy to everyone he meets. Children love to sit and play with him, and we use him to educate people about what great animal companions rabbits can be. He is best friends with our dog, Sophie, and they hang out together while we work during the day. We want to make sure Reggie has both his legs, so he can have a happy bunny life. He is only 3 years old, and Flemish Giant Rabbits can live up to 10 years!
We are so grateful to anyone who can donate. Rest assured that 100% of these funds will go to Reggie's surgery, healing, and recovery. Thank you so much for helping our big bunny boy.
