Broken Forests Art Residency

The Broken Forests Group of Artists and Curators are dedicated to creating contemporary visual, media and performance art events that raise public awareness of the imminent destruction and exploitation of our wild areas, forests and sacred sites. 
This international group of professional artists are travelling the world visiting our great forests, listening to the voices and rhythms of those places and bringing back to urban audiences tales of:
•   the destruction of biologically diverse "wilderness" areas
•   the effects of mono-culture forestry and global tourism on wildlife and sacred sites
•   how individuals and community groups are reinvigorating forests, one tree at a time.
